CP Wagbara Celebrates Retirement
The Retired Commissioner of Police, CP Peter Wagbara, has held thanksgiving in celebration of his successful retirement into the Nigeria Police.
The epoch-making ceremony which held recently at Elele Alimini in Emohua local government coincided with his election as new Nye Nwe Ali of Elele Alimini, saw a convergence of bigwigs from all walks of life
CP Wagbara expressed gratitude to God Almighty for sparing his life as he served Nigeria Police meritoriously, even without blemish reports.
CP Wagbara opined that thirty three years of active service to fatherland and successful retirement were a big testimony hence he gathered friends ,colleagues ,family members and well wishers to thank God.
While thanking his people for the higher responsibility accorded him at this time in history to serve as their paramount ruler, assuring he will never disappoint.
CP Wagbara reiterated his determination to sustain existing peace in the area.
According to him,” security of lives and property, law and order shall remain paramount as I reign on the stool
The peaceful nature of Elele Alimini since time immemorial will not be compromised .As one of the notable peaceful communities in Emohua cum Ikwerre, we shall leverage on it.
Coming from the background of the Police force, I shall ensure stability of the community which will snowball to uncommon development.
As a fulfilled retired officer with good health, everyone will be carried along in order to achieve desired objectives.
Both the vigilante outfit, hunters shall be encouraged to ensure total peaceful existence,’ he declared.
Earlier, the Assistant Inspector General of Police (AIG) in charge of Zone 16 Yenalgoa, AIG Ben Nwokolo, said the successful retirement of CP Wagbara deserve commendations.
AIG Nwokolo further described the celebrant as a refined officer, his track records and high sense of professionalism will be greatly missed.
AIG Nwokolo however, thanked God on his behalf for ending his choosing career on a remarkable note.
While thanking the people for chosen him as their new Eze, he said he will bring his wealth of experience to bear in his new assignment.
He urged the people to give him full support to succeed I’m his new job.
The chairman of the occasion, Eze Okey Okah ,Eze Umopirikwu 1 of Elele in Ikwerre local thanked God for a successful retirement of Ikwerre’s worthy son, CP Wagbara.
Eze Okah said the numerous people from all walks of life who came to celebrate him shows he served well.
Eze Okah said Ikwerre people were proud of him for making them proud.
