Tinubu’s Victory, God’s Will To Salvage Nigeria – Royal Father
A renowned traditional ruler in Opobo Kingdom of Rivers State, Alabo Reuben Jaja, has expressed joy over the emergence of the presidential candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Asiwaju Bola Tinubu as winner and elected President of Nigeria in the February 25, 2023 poll, describing the victory as “God’s will to salvage Nigeria from misgovernance, hardship, insecurity, killings and the destruction of lives and property”.
Exchanging views with journalists recently in Port Harcourt on Nigeria and the new leadership, Alabo Jaja said there was need for all to close-ranks and sink differences by joining forces with the President-elect to move the country forward via quality leadership for the betterment of all Nigerians.
“Let us bury our aggrieved hatchets and join forces with the Tinubu-led Federal Government come May 29, 2023 to build a virile and prosperous Nigerian state devoid of bickering, avarice, self-centeredness, political bigotry and porous interest in order to stabilize the lack lustre economy.
“We must work together as a people if we really want to achieve the desired results. We all should support the incoming administration under the watch of Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu in the country in order to change the poor spate of the nation’s economy.
“I urge Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu to begin to shop for leaders based on their track records and good works, worthy characters rather than sentiments and biases.
“It is important that we distinguish ourselves from the norm that has kept our unity of purpose in Nigeria in limbo for many years ago”, Alabo Jaja declared.
Alabo Jaja, (Prince Soidee Jaja II), enjoined the President-elect to carry everybody along by forming a Government of National Unity (GNU) in order to build an egalitarian Nigerian society in the years ahead.
The traditional ruler, whose Opobo/Nkoro Ward 7, Unit 15, voted massively for the APC presidential candidate, hailed Tinubu on his election victory, describing his emergence as President-elect as “The wish of nature for a dynamic, unique and quality change in the country”.
