Group Sets Agenda For Rivers Governor-Elect

A socio-political group in Rivers State, The Alliance Forum of Indigenes and Non- indigenes in Rivers State, has called on the Governor-elect of Rivers State, Sir Siminialayi Fubara to make human capital development his major priority
The group also urged him to give attention to the issue of insecurity in the State.
This was contained in a statement made available to newsmen at the end of its general meeting in Port Harcourt.
The statement jointly signed by Mr Owo Udo, the State leader and John Johnson, the Secretary expressed confidence that the incoming administration will exceed the expectations of Rivers people in the areas of empowerment, security and infrastructural development.
It also commended Governor Nyesom Wike for his level of infrastructural development in the State.
While congratulating Fubara, his Deputy, Professor Ngozi Odu and other elected persons in the State, the group resolved to mobilise its members across the local government areas to support the incoming administration.
It also commended the President-elect, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu for coming to commission projects embarked upon by the administration of Governor Nyesom Wike.
It also urged the youths to shun violence and channel their energies and minds to things that will bring development to the State.
It further called on Rivers people and non-indigenes living in the State to continue to support the administration of Governor Wike as well as the incoming administration of Sir Fubara.
