The Bishop, Diocese of Kwara Anglican Communion, Rt. Reverend Sunday Adewole, has assured Nigerians of better days ahead.
The cleric urged Nigerians to be hopeful for a better and  prosperous country, the current challenges facing the country notwithstanding.
Adewole gave the assurance during the Easter service at the Cathedral of Saint Barnabas Anglican Church, Sabo-Oke Ilorin, the  state capital.
He said:  “We should be hopeful in an  hopeless situation because the Lord is there;  He has the ability to turn things around for good.”
On the outcome of the 2023 general elections, the cleric said, “nobody can come to power except the Lord put him there. If we want to seek redress, we should go the legal way, we should not incite people, we should  follow the law of the land and then hope on the Lord”.
Speaking on the essence of Easter celebration, Adewole said ,”Easter celebration is  the resurrection of the Lord Jesus Christ. Today Jesus rose to defeat Satan and to open the gate of eternity for believers. Today is so important because if there is no resurrection there will be no Christianity. He rose that is why we have confidence to know that even after living this world, there will be a place in the Kingdom”.
