ICT Chief Tasks Govts, Businesses On Tech Training
An Information and Communication Technology (ICT) expert, Mr Sam Adesoga, has urged governments and businesses to train their personnel in new technologies in order to improve their productivity.
Adesoga, Principal Coach at Valuehut Limited., gave the change in an interview with newsmen in Lagos, recently.
He said it was necessary for governments and businesses to develop, strengthen and sharpen their personnel’s skills and abilities to survive and thrive in a fast-changing world of technology.
“It is important to note that technology is a key driver of any country’s economy. It plays a significant role in solving many challenges facing businesses, governments and even countries.
“As such, training in technology is necessary as many innovations have been affected by disruptive technologies”, he said.
According to him, capacity building in technology will enhance innovation, provide opportunities for organisations, governments and young entrepreneurs to develop their potential.
He said tech skills, apart from helping businesses to grow, could help solve problems in critical governmental sectors such as health, education, and agriculture.
Adesoga said Valuehut limited had trained many organisations globally on how to use technology to solve problems and also empowered businesses with solutions to achieve their goals and targets.
“For us in Valuehut, our work has gone beyond tech to entire organisational needs, integrating business and technology as one unit’, he said.
He appealed to young entrepreneurs to explore technology in order to be abreast of new innovations to drive their businesses successfully.
The expert also advised them to build their businesses on trust and not engage in activities that could destroy their business goals.
