Omire also took time to commend the sponsor of the competition, Chief Ikenna Okafor for his unrelentless efforts in promotion of grassroots sports in the State steadily.
“Interestingly, Chief Ikenna Okafor has not only demonstrated his love in sports by sponsoring Swimming competition alone in the State but equally in other games like football, tennis etc.
He, however, prayed that other spirited individuals in the State should see reason with Chief Ikenna to emulate his good footsteps towards investing in Sports promotion that will help to keep the youth busy and also create job opportunities for the unemployed.
