BDAFA/TATABO CUP: Sponsor Reiterates Commitment To Sports Dev In Bille …As LT Winners FC Emerge Champions

The sponsor of the Bille District Amateur Football Association (BDAFA)/ TATABO Annual Football Tournament, Engr. Adokiye Tombomieye, has reiterated his commitment to continue sponsoring the compettion.
According to him, he has no doubt that new players have been discovered who can play in bigger clubs in the country soon.
Engr. Tombomieye, who was represented by Rev. Canon Mac Inoma Diri said these at the closing ceremony of the compettion, last were in Bille Kingdom, Degema Local Government Area, Rivers State.
He equally said that with the increase in the prize money and the laurels won by participants, grassroots football development in Bille Kingdom had come to stay and  congratulated all the teams that participated.
“I  applaud the leadership of the Bille District Amateur Football Association (BDAFA) for a wonderful job they have done, in not only sustaining the legacy we left behind but also making Bille Kingdom a soccer haven. Thank you and God bless you all. Congr tulations!.
“It is important to let people know I was part of Winners FC team that won the maiden edition trophy back in 1980.
I thank all the participated clubs especially LT Winners FC, that won the maiden edition of BDAFA /TATABO Cup. No doubt, new players have been discovered and I believe that football coaches were here to take some of them to bigger clubs in the country.
Also speaking at the event Chairman, BDAFA Board Ajubo Oloko, described the 2022 edition as classic and fantastic, even though there were pockets of challenges at the initial time but finally it was good as it surpassed previous editions.
He expressed optimism that this next edition will better because there will be innovations to make it better.
