The South-South Zonal Leader of Civil Society Action Coalition on Education for All (CSACEFA), Mr. Bright Tamunoala, has said that he has no knowledge of election in the organisation in Rivers State.
According to him, if there would be any election, he was the right person to superintend over the election, adding that his focus was to ensure that the organisation achieved her aims and objectives.
This was contained in a statement he personally signed and made available to newsmen, last Saturday, saying that there was no election held and no new officers elected in the state.
“I heard names of some persons parading themselves as elected officers in the state. I want to say categorically that there was no such election held. Consequently, all those parading themselves as elected officers have the tendencies to misinform and dupe unsuspected individuals. In fact, CSACEFA is looking for such persons arrest.
“As I speak, the state already has an elected functional executive led by Mrs. Diepriye Odunna to pilot the affairs for the next two years.
“Please, the public should not do any official business concerning (CSACEFA) apart from Mrs. Odunna-led Exco because our society now is full of tricksters,” Tamunoala said.
He further explained that the organisation has procedures for who want to become a member, and also has electoral process as enshrined in the constitution of CSACEFA.
“Before election holds the South-South zonal coordinator must be aware and approve, after which the national leadership led by Mr. Omole Babatunde as the board chairman will endorse the Exco in an Annual General Meeting (AGM) for recognition.
“I use this medium to advice corporate organisations and well-meaning individuals to be aware and not to fall victim in the hands of fraudsters, you can reach us on this email csacefarv@gmail.com” he stated.
