27 Ships With PMS, Others Arrive Lagos Ports, Today
Ahead of the 2022 Christmas celebration, a total of 27 ships laden with various cargos are expected in Lagos port terminals today to discharge cargos.
This was contained in the current Nigerian Ports Authority (NPA) weekly magazine, “The Shipping Position” issued to TheTide in Port Harcourt.
The manifest said the Expected dates of Arrival (ETA) for the ships to berth is from 17th to 24th December 2022.
The magazine listed the names of the 27 ships expected at Lagos pilotage District 1 this week to include Genco Vigilante, Green Chile, Petrus Zonda, Cool Girl, Bocs Africa and Unity.
Others are: Sino Trust, Tornado’s, Black Pearl, Sapet Gas, West More and Bold Mariners.
The Magazine also listed the cargos laden in the vessels as Bulk Wheat, Frozen Fish, PMS, AGO, and general cargos.
Other cargos in the ships include Bulk Gas, Containers, Bulk SALT and Bulk Urea.
Agents for the ships include Allison, Alraine, Blue Seas, Blue Star, Cosco, De E Rock, Peak, Rehdors, Tera and Vewat.
The weekly said the arrival of these vessels this Yuletide season is expected to make PMS, AGO, Frozen Fish and bulk salt more affordable to end users and create jobs for Dockworkers in the terminals
