We’ll Win All Elections Convincingly In Abua/Odual, Daniel Declares

The Coordinator of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) Campaign Council who also doubles as the Abua/Odual Local Government Council Chairman, Hon. Daniel Daniel, has declared that the party would win all elections and win convincingly in the general election come 2023.
Daniel, who made the declaration at the PDP Secretariat in Ayama, Abua Central while inaugurating members of the PDP Campaign Council, charged them to be united and work for the victory of the party.
“Believe in the party; don’t be afraid because fear can make us lose the fight. If we believe in ourselves, we will win convincingly.
“The governor has given us strength, and he has asked us to capture. I have toured round the LGA, and I have not seen any party that can win us in an election,” Daniel declared.
Advising on the need for a united front for the party in the area, Daniel admonished members not to focus on the internal wrangling within the ranks of the party, stating that the focus should be on gaining a victory in the 2023 general election.
“Focus on winning because when we win, there will be a lot of benefits for our people. We have made mistakes in the past, which has cost us a lot.Let’s not allow same problems to repeat.
“This election is going to be a very superficial. We will interact and identify with the real voters in the various units, and address the peculiar challenges in the various wards across the LGA”, Daniel added.
On his part, Prof Henry I. Ogiri while charging members of the party to disseminate the gospel of the PDP to every nook and cranny of the neighbourhood said that Abua/Odual has been positioned to benefit maximally from the PDP Government.
He assured that machinery had been set in motion to complete all ongoing projects in the area, adding that the governor would not abandon any project in the area.
Ogiri added that construction work would commence in the area as soon as possible, which would in turn, engage the youths and provide them with alternate sources of livelihood.
In his welcome speech, the PDP Chairman in the area, Hon Oye FubaraIgenewari, said “Our job today is simply to inaugurate members of the PDP Campaign Council”.
He stated that the campaign council was carefully selected and structured to deliver all the candidates of the PDP in the area.
Oye further expressed profound happiness for the massive turnout of party faithful despite the short notice given for the meeting, and thanked them for their continuous solidarity with the party.
The 118 inaugurated campaign council members include the Local Government Chairman, Hon Daniel Daniel as the coordinator while Hon Oye FubaraIgenewari serves as the deputy coordinator.
Others are:All party LGA executive members; all ward chairmen of the party; all councillors; while all unit coordinators are to serve as members.
The brief programme was well attended by the Leader of the PDP in Abua/Odual Local Government Area, Prof. Henry Itotenaan Ogiri, and the incumbent House of Assembly member representing Abua/Odual State Constituency, Hon Solomon Sokolo.
The House of Assembly Candidate of the PDP in Abua/Odual, Hon John Dominic Iderima was also in attendance.
