PDP’s Targets Clear Win In Emohua, Woke Insists
The Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) Campaign Council in Emohua Local Government Area of Rivers State has been charged to mobilise for convincing victory for all the candidates of the party in the 2023 general election.
The charge was given by the Chief of Staff, Government House, Port Harcourt, Engr. Emeka Woke, while speaking at the inauguration of the Emohua Local Government Area Campaign Council at Rumuji, recently.
He further charged the campaign council:”Go and preach to our brothers who are willing to come back to the Peoples Democratic Party but are ashamed on how to go about coming back to PDP”.
While emphasising that it might not be possible for all who worked for the party to benefit at the same time, Woke hinted that efforts would be made to ensure that those who were yet to benefit were accommodated in future.
“At this point, we will thank God for all those who have benefitted, while we patiently wait to see how we can accommodate others as we move on to the next administration.
“Two to three weeks ago, Barrister Emenike Ake would have said he has not got anything, but today, he has something to show for his loyalty.
“So, there is hope for everybody. We need to work hard because there is so much work to be done”, Chief of Staff said, while declaring that Justina Emeji will win the Emohua House of Assembly election while Siminialayi Fubara will consolidate the New Rivers Vision, because”, according to him, Fubara would take over from Governor Nyesom Wike.
The Emohua-born politician was also optimistic that while B.S. Emerengwa would go back to the House of Representatives to complete his assignment, while Alwell Nyesoh would go to the Senate to give Rivers East a better representation in the Senate.
