Sheraton Director Celebrates At 40 Plans Foundation To Train Children

Life is sweet when we are the one telling our stories and not the other way round, when people do it on our behalf when we are no more.
This is the reason a Director of Sales in Sheraton Hotel, Abuja, Mrs Vindi Suleiman decided to gather friends and worship the Almighty God for sustaining her life in the past 40 years.
The Sheraton Sales Director showcased a different form and way of celebrating birthday, called, “white worship” to tune the hearts of her friends and well wishers to God through undiluted praise and worship.
She needed something different from what others do and had this to say, “It’s my birthday and I want to celebrate it through worship. Just showing a different way of celebrating birthday”.
Vindi who was one of the top five for the Next Movie Star TV Reality Show and also into event planning, hopes to launch a foundation soon, that will enable her showcase the love she has for children through skill acquisition and training.
“It will be a non-profit organization that fights poverty through skills acquisitions, education, wellness and general lifestyle.
Our aim is to ensure free education, feeding and training for children”, she said.
Celebrating with friends, managerial team of Sheraton Hotel, Abuja and music makers increased her joy and reverence to her God who she said has been the brain behind all her achievements for these 40 years.
For Vindi, worship to God and the plan to start a foundation are paramount in her mindset and would be achieved soon to make her joy full.
She expressed her love for children and the desire to put smiles on the faces of children and teenagers around her in her foundation. Her joy in her description would be triggered when other people, especially children are happy by her show of love.
Talking about the celebrant, the General Manager of Sheraton Hotel, Abuja, Grace Acheampong said she is hard-working and can be relied upon to execute any given assignment.
“She is very hardworking and we don’t want to wait until somebody is dead before pouring praises on the person’s dead body. We want to tell you how much you are loved.
“I pray that God will shower you with His blessings in all your endeavors. Nobody can remove the glory of God in your life. I have confidence in you that you will accomplish much in life”, she said.
Acheampong said that Vindi is a character to emulate, “which is the reason why all of us gathered to celebrate you. She makes my job easy by being dutiful.
Earlier, the Human Resources Manager of the hotel, Mr Obinna Amankulor said Vindi deserves to be celebrated, “because her leadership prowess is not in doubt.
“You are a courageous person and a great talent, whose love for humanity triggered my interest in her. Much has been said about you and these words are true . You are a treasure to our office here in Abuja. We love you.
The highlights of the celebration were cutting of the birthday cake, dance and speeches by other friends and well wishers.
