Rivers PCRC Holds Security Confab, ’Morrow

The Rivers State Command of the Police Community Relations Committee (PCRC) would, tomorrow, hold its security conference at the Alfred Diete-Spiff Civic Centre in Port Harcourt.
A statement signed by the state Chairman, Chief Casca Ogosu, and made available to The Tide, indicates that the state Governor, Chief Nyesom Wike, would be the chief guest expected to declare the conference open, while the former vice chancellor of University of Port Harcourt, Prof NesLale would serve as the chairman of the occasion.
The statement further said that the Paramount Ruler of Port Harcourt City, Eze Isaiah Elikwu, would serve as the royal father of the day, while the state resident electoral commissioner (REC) would present a paper, titled: “Election Violence: Management and Prevention” during the conference.
The statement, however, said that over 300 stakeholders from within and outside the state including, NDLES, university administrators, labour leaders and the media were expected during the one-day event.
