Pastor Ibiyeomie Is Sports Personified – Green
The Rivers State Commissioner for Sports, Barrister Christopher Green, has described the General Overseer of Salvation Ministry, Pastor David Ibiyeomie as Sports personified and supporter of sporting activities in Nigeria and beyond.
He stated that Pastor Ibiyeomie is a man God has used to touch the lives of many in the sports industry, saying that he(Ibiyeomie) did not play football but follow every aspect of sporting activities in the world.
Barrister Green said these on Wednesday in an exclusive interview with Tidesports shortly after he kicked off novelty match between Salvation Ministries Selected and Goldash FC, as part of the activities to mark the 60th birthday of Pastor Ibiyeomie, at Sharks Football Stadium in Port Harcourt.
According to him, it was an honour done him to take the kick-off in the novelty football match in honour of Pastor Ibiyeomie.
“ As I took the kick off, it was a big honour for me to be part of the activities to celebrate a generational leader and mentor. Pastor Ibiyeomie is a gift to humanity, as he has touched lots of lives in the sporting industry. In fact, this type of people are rare to find,” he said.
He noted that he has not seen a man of God that has a high sense of humility.
