Nigeria:Making Of A Great Nation 

Nigeria is a great nation,a beautiful country,a land flowing with milk and honey. The giant of Africa,the best and biggest country in Africa.  A nation with unity even in diversity.  A country where I am proud to be a citizen of.
Nigeria is a nation that has so many good things, ranging from fertile land for agriculture, good tourist centres and also the best natural resources, but corruption is a problem in Nigeria.
My dream for Nigeria is for corruption to be a thing of the past in the country because this is giving the country a bad image. For example,  if a citizen of this country leaves for another country,the people outside will not feel safe with that citizen because of this bad image (corruption ). This has led to the rise of insecurity in the country.  We need better security, not an insecure country. I wish that there are more brave, trained, abled and honest security personnel to guard and secure lives.
Nigeria must remain great, like other countries that allow women to participate in politics fully. Therefore, girl child education should be encouraged.  The encouragement of girl child education cannot be over- emphasised . Coming from a single sex school (Girls’school ), I have been able to see the importance of girl child education in our society.  Girls are intelligent, powerful, brave, prudent  and also have dignity. They also have some leadership abilities that many men do not have.
Nigeria therefore should allow women to partcipate in politics fully. For example,  running for the presidential position in the country.  We have many women that have good leadership qualities, in Nigeria, like Mrs Ngozi Okonjo – Iweala, who is an influential personality and can bring the change needed in Nigeria.  For our country, Nigeria to remain great,the pledge should be adhered to with all sincerity by us,the citizens.
