Firm Trains 200 People On Artificial Intelligence

Strategic Business Techspace (SBT), an Artificial Intelligence company, has trained more than 200 youths in emerging  technologies to boost the growth of Information and Communications Technology (ICT) in Africa’s economy, particularly in Nigeria.
The company, in partnership with  an award-winning organisation in Conversational Artificial Intelligence, embarked on training  of individuals  and organisations to boost Nigerian  economy  in particular.
Chief  Technical Officer,  Strategic  Business Techspace (SBT),  Mr. David Mba, said the training  was part of the company’s  commitment  to the growth  of emerging technologies in Africa.
The Tide’s source reports that SBT had organised  its fourth edition of  Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Internet of Things (1OT) Summit, with the theme ‘Emerging Technologies And Innovations in Africa by Africans’.
Mba said at the summit that the trainings had been in various forms, from bootcamp for students to trainings  for individuals and organisations.
He hinted  that the training was part of the company’s  objectives  of achieving  a digitally literate  population in Africa, and Nigeria  in particular.
According  to him, the training will still  be organised,  especially  the bootcamp, until the objective of achieving  a relatively  digital  economy  is achieved.
“SBT is committed to contributing to the growth of emerging technologies and innovation space in Africa.
“The  benefits of the summit and training include individual’s learning of emerging technologies that evolve and change business and workplace narratives.
“It  availed organisations opportunity to measure their digital strategy through Gartner’s Digital Execution Score Card,’’ he said.
Mbah,  emphasised that there was no specific number of people  targeted for the training.
