Ariolu Set To Begin Rebuilding Burnt Rumuepirikom Market
The Chairman of Obio/Akpor Local Government Council, Barrister George Ariolu, has said that his administration would commence the rebuilding of the burnt section of Rumuepirikom market.
Ariolu disclosed this when a delegation of Rumuepirikom Kingdom Council led by Chief Emma Okas Wike, paid him a courtesy visit in his office at the council headquarters, Rumuodomaya.
He said that a son must be a replica of his father, adding that as a product of the state Governor, Chief Nyesom Wike, he would continue to replicate his legacies.
The council boss said that Obi/ Akpor Local Government Council has made tremendous progress in the area of human capacity development and infrastructure.
Ariolu, who led Rumuepirikom Town Council leaders on an inspection tour of projects in the local government council, assured them that Rumuepirikom was an integral part of his government, saying that he would not relent in his service to the people of Obio/Akpor.
Speaking earlier, the Chairman of Rumuepirikom Kingdom Council, Chief Emma Okas Wike, applauded Ariolu for his people-oriented policies that cut across the two constituencies in the local government area.
He thanked the chairman for rewriting the narrative of the local government area both in human capacity development and infrastructure.
According to him, Ariolu’s administration has brought about a paradigm shift in the activities of the local government area, and has benefited both indigenes and non-indigenes in the local government.
He promised that Rumuepirikom Kingdom Council would continue to support Ariolu’s administration and the local government area to attain enviable heights.
