Youth Leader Cautions Against Crime, Sues For Peace

A Youth leader in Gokhana Local Government Area, Engr Dee Ledisi has called on youths of the area to shun any arts of crime and embrace peace and unity.
Ledisi made the call at Grassroot Development Initiatives (GDI) Operation Show Your PVC at Nkpo Primary School premises, recently.
He was of the view that no meaningful development can be recorded in a crisis environment and placed emphasis on the essence of maintaining peaceful environment.
Dee however, used the opportunity and appealed to eligible voters in Gokana to get their PVC in readiness to elect people oriented leaders who will help and fight insecurity.
He said that the people’s vote must count to address the anomalies facing the country as orchestrated by unprepared leaders of the All Progressives Congress.
Dee noted that the essence of Permanent Voters Card cannot be over-emphasised, hence the need for everyone to get it
According to him, PDP in Gokhana has no contention, as the party will coast to victory come 2023.
He expressed happiness over the large attendance of the people and added that that the LGA is no-go area for other political parties.
The youth leader also hinted that the performance of the state governor, Chief Nyesom Wike, in the past seven and half years had silenced opposition in the state
He said no administration since the creation of the state can surpass Governor Wike in terms of infrastructural development and peace
Meanwhile, he has commended the executive chairman of Gokhana ,Hon Confidence Deekor for restoring peace in the area.
