No Security Threats In Eleme, Says Council Boss
The authorities of Eleme Local Government Area say no iota of security threats in the area
This was revealed by the Chairman of the council, Hon Obarilomate Ollor during the Grassroot Develooment Iniative (GDI) sensitization at Eleme recently.
Hon Ollor expressed joy over the peaceful disposition of the area which has necessitated even economic and infrastructural development.
Eleme Council Boss noted that on assumption office his administration with the assistance of the state government fought security headlong.
He further commended the Rivers State Governor, Chief Nyesom Wike for prioritizing security
“Eleme must commend Chief Nyesom Wike for addressing insecurity in Eleme as well as in the entire State. It has metamorphosed into unprecedented development of the area and beyond,” he stated.
“The economic, power, infrastructural improvement of the area is a clear testimony the present Peoples Democratic Party administration has done well
As a Council, we have tried to complement the effort of governor Wike in improving living standard of our people
“This was achieved through educational support of the people, building infrastructure bursary payment and power.
“Our people have every reason to vote PDP with their permanent voter’s card,” he said.
He said adequate sensitization on PVC has been done by the council in various public institutions which had paid off as Eleme ranked among first three following INEC daily indices.
Meanwhile, Aforji Igwe ,lawmaker representing Eleme state Constituency says improvement on security ,infrastructure and other people oriented projects executed by Governor Nyesom Wike ‘ s administration were enough reason Eleme would vote Peoples Democratic Party and its candidates.
Hon Igwe said the long abandonment of the East / West road by the present federal government of APC was enough reason to vote them out.
Hon Igwe stated this at Eleme during the GDI sensitization at the weekend.
Igwe, also a PDP House of Assembly flagbearer in Eleme expressed regret over the unfair treatment to his people despite their contribution to the Council.
He urged eligible voters to register and get their PVCs as it remained their power to vote out bad leadership of President Buhari led APC.
