Bonny Security Is Top Notch – LG Boss
The authorities of Bonny Local Government in Rivers State say security of lives and property remains top notch
This was disclosed yesterday by the Chairman of the Council, Hon Anengi Barasua, in her office while receiving an award of excellent performance by the weekly watch.
Hon Anengi said essence of adequate security could not be over emphasised.
She noted that it would give room for conducive working environment among her people and companies ,industries opeatng in the area.
The Bonny first female Chairman opined that necessary support had been given to all security agents by her administration to achieve such feat.
Anengi explained that in the past, Bonny used to experience sea piracy and other forms of security threats ,but since she assumed office all ha become things of the past.
She vowed never to compromise security of lives and property of her people.
“Security of lives and property of our people is top notch to us .

“We have achieved this by working closely with the security agents
On no account can I compromise security of the people ,” she declared
Hon Anengi commended Governor Nyesom Wike for priotising security which had helped her achieve much success.
She described Governor Wike as a great leader whose footprint would be difficult to erase in Rivers political annals.
Anengi said she remained grateful to Governor Wike for the opportunity given her and other Rivers women to prove that they could do it better.
She noted women of Rivers State and beyond would continue to appreciate him and give necessary support to him.
She commended the efforts of the media especially weekly watch for recognizing Excellency and hardwork
While acknowledging the effort of weekly watch in the development of Rivers State.
While admitting that the prestigious award was a challenge to escalate scope of work and do it better.
She said the grace of God had been enormous and sufficient.
