The newly appointed Commissioner for sports in Rivers State, Barrister Christopher Green, has said that sports in the State would take a new dimension.
He lauded the Governor, Chief Nyesom Wike, for his appointment, saying that he will not disappoint Rivers people in sports development.
Green disclosed this in an exclusive interview with Tidesports, at the weekend, shortly after he was sworn in as commissioner for Sports.
According to him, his administration would be all inclusive to enable him achieve his set goals in sports development.
“I thank the Governor of the State, Chief Nyesom Wike, for the appointment. I will not disappoint him and the entire Rivers people.
‘Consequently, I want the support of all stakeholders in the sports environment, only me cannot do the magic.
‘You are aware that sports promotion and development are not a one- man business, we all must join hands together to make the State the best in sports,” Barrister Green said.
