Shun Violence, Embrace Peace, LG Boss Urges Youths

The Chairman of Community Development Committee (CDC) of Gure Community in Khana Local Government Area of Rivers State, ASP Nekabari Mmbip, has advised the youth of the area to avoid any act that will bring disaffection in the Community.
Noting that no community can achieve meaningful development in an atmosphere of rancour, he called on the youth of the area to be developmental agents in the Community.
ASP Mmbip, who made he call yesterday, during the Community’s meeting held at the Community Primary School one in Gure, called on parents of the Community to reach out to their children who are engeged in cultism and other societal vices to renounce the acts, saying that failure will attract several penalties.
He enjoined all the indigenes to join hand with him by giving information and making meaningful contribution that will bring peace and growth to the community.
“As youth of our dear Community, let’s join hands together to make the community grow and avoid any act that will bring disaffection in our community.
“We do not have any other community apart from our dear Gure, so let us advise our brothers and sisters to shun cultism and other acts that will bring crises to our community.
“It is time all hands must be on deck to move the Community forward”, he urged.
