Rivers Bureau Of Public Procurement Holds Birthday Bash For DG.

It was a fun filled day as the Management  and  staff of the Rivers State Bureau of Public Procurement threw a surprise  Birthday the Rivers State  Bureau of Public Procurement had a surprise birthday bash for the Director- General,   Mr Igonibo Emmanuel  Thompson at its premises  in Port Harcourt recently.
Thompson who was tactically tricked into the well  Birthday hall by some staff, said  he has never had a similar experience before.
“I have never had a Birthday like this. I never knew  what I have done. This day should cancel all wrongs”, he said.
Thompson  who described  the organisers as wonderful, said It such a memorable  moment  to take some time off  work and celebrate  and enjoy with each other.
Though  he hinted  that he had a similar  treat  at home earlier on the said day, but ranked  that of his staff special  due to  the high  level display  of love and care.
He also hinted that there will  be a proper  arrangement  to ensure  that every body in the the Bureau will be celebrated.
“ I thank all of them for their concern.  I think, everyone deserved this kind of treatment. So, I will workout  modalities on how to ensure  that  everyone’s birthday is celebrated”, he.
About the progress of the organisation, he said that  it has fared well  under his watch.
According to him, the agency was a creation  of the law  and has so, pitched all its dealings  within the confines  of the law.
Though, a baby agency, he hinted that it has operated  above its target given the level of achievement  recorded  in a short distance.
Local Governments, and others he revealed,  are  in a nice transaction  agreement  with the agency and linked it to part  of its success  story.
