Rivers AITEO Cup: Khana FC Dares Rivers Utd
Head Coach of the Khana FC of Khana Local Government Area, Rivers State, Sam Ledor, has said that his team will not be a pushover in their encounter with Rivers United, tomorrow.
Khana FC will go head to head with United in one of the semi final games at the ongoing AITEO Cup, scheduled to hold at Sharks FC Stadium, Port Harcourt.
Ledor said this at the weekend in an exclusive interview with Tidesports in Port Harcourt.
He said that the result of the game will speak for itself after 90 minutes, saying that football is not all about big name but about team work and coordination.
According to the former captain of Sharks FC, they are going to play good football tomorrow, because in the game of football anything can happen.
“We want to keep clean sheets in the competition.
Currently United are on top of the log in the Nigeria Professional Football League (NPFL) but we cannot be pushover.
All what we are going to do is to play good football.
Anything can happen, I am not saying they will win or I will win but the end of 90 minutes will tell for both teams.
We are just about three months old in the system and you can see the impressive performance of the boys (players) within the short period.
We will be a team to beat” Ledor said.
He called on their supporters and fans to keep supporting and pray for the team.
“My message to our supporters and fans is to keep supporting us that we will not fail them” he stated.
