Opobo/Nkoro Chairman, Others Extol Qualities Of Late Madam Oju-Kienmie

The Chairman of Opobo/Nkoro Local Government Area,Hon.Enyiada Cookey-Gam, has joined other Nigerians to extol the sterling qualities of late Madam Leah A. Oju-Kienmie.
Late Madam Leah Oju KIenmie was the mother of the Vice Chairman of Opobo/Nkoro Local Government Area, Hon.Angela A.Oju-KIenmie and Lieutenant Francis Oju-Kienmie.
The deceased is to be buried this weekend atNkoro Town,Opobo/Nkoro Local Government Area.
Speaking during a service of songs in honour of the deceased at the Royal Baptist Church, Eagle Island,Port Harcourt, Cookey-Gam, said late Madam Leah lived a fulfilled life, adding that the quality of children she left behind speaks volumes of her good nature.
The Opobo/Nkoro boss also advised the children to build on the foundation left behind by their mother.
Also speaking,Lieutenant Francis Oju-Kienmie, said his mother was hardworkingand honest.
He also said his mother was a strong disciplinarian,adding that despite being the only son, his mother never pampered him.
On his part,a nephew,Peterside Abel, said the vacuum left behind by the deceased would be difficult to fill.
According to him, late Madam Leah impacted positively on everyone around her.
Also,Major Patrick Nnabugwe, who spoke on the topic: “Life Goes On”, said the deceased was a true servant of God.
He stressed the need for people to have the fear of God while alive as life does not end here.
Earlier,Vice Chairman of Opobo/Nkoro Local Government Area, Hon.Angela A.Oju-Kienmie, said her late mother was an epitome of peace and blessings in the community.
She said the family would build on the legacy left behind by following on her footsteps.
