LG Lawmakers Pass Confidence Vote On Chairman
Councillors in Abua Odual Local Government Area of Rivers State have passed a vote of confidence on the Executive Chairman of the Council, Sir Daniel Daniel.
Deputy Leader of the Legisative Assembly, Mr. Sokari Okpokipoiy, made this known in an interview with newsmen shortly after an oversight function tour of some ingoing projects recently.
Leading the councillors on the tour, Supervisor for Works, Mr. Azinami Iwarisou, explained that all the projects were at advanced stage of completion.
He noted the determination of the Daniel administration on the provision of basic social amenities to the people of the local government.
Other principal officers who were on the tour included Leader of the Legislature, Mrs. Mercy Igenewari, and Chief Whip, Mr. Egemu lpeghan.
Some of the projects incude a 150KVA generating set, Ayama/Otari road rehabilitation, renovation of the old secretariat, two storeyshopping mall, land scapping and beautification.
