Honesty, Creditability Enhanced My Progress In Politics – Fubara
Governorship candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in Rivers State, Amaopusenibo Siminialayi Fubara, has disclosed that wisdom and credibility have impacted positively on his political career.
Fubara made the disclosure recently in Port Harcourt in an acceptance speech after being declared winner of the party’s governorship primaries, saying that his agenda focuses reasonable promises to improve on the empowerment programmes of Governor Nyesom Wike’s administration.
The governorship hopeful noted that since assumption of office seven years ago, Governor Nyesom Wike has been busy working round the clock to create jobs and wealth for Rivers people, especially the younger generations.
The Governor, according to him, has been able to decongest the state labour market via substantial investments in skills acquisition, human capital development and regular empowerment programmes in terms of starter packs, cash to boost businesses and investments in the creative industry and other sectors of the state economy.
Fubara recalled that as a youth leader, he commanded enormous respect and still enjoyed same from youths across the state because he has always been on the side of justice, truth, equity and on issues that will be beneficial to all and sundry.
Fubara, a former Accointant-General of the the state, urged delegates, to always have clear and positive goals to accomplish in life and work together with him by respecting leaders of the party and stakeholders.
The PDP standard – bearer said that he deployed wisdom, credibility and honesty in his interactions with people across board, and created healthy relationships and partnerships with leaders, elders, stakeholders, women and youth, which he said, subsequently paved the way for his emergence as PDP governorship flagbearer in next year’s gubernatorial polls in the state.
He enjoined all the aspirants and the generality of the electorate to support him in the election for the wellbeing of all in the state.
