Ex-Sharks Players Organises Novelty Match For Late Colleague

The Ex Sharks FC of Port Harcourt players on Saturday organised a novelty football match for their late member, Coach Sunny Opuda Iseokaeinma at the Sharks football stadium in Port Harcourt.
The game saw a lots of ex- Sharks players from different part of the state who came to together and remember their member who will be lay to rest at the end of the game. Ex- Sharks defeated Blue and white 4-3.
Speaking with Tidesports in an exclusive interview shortly after the game,Victor Ezeji described Iseokaeinma has a wonderful man, father, friend and brother who inspired a lot of people.
According to him, he met Iseokaeinma when he came to Sharks FC in 1996, adding that he guided him as a upcoming player.
He equally said that the novelty game is a kind of ritual normally organised for members who passed on, saying that they have no options than to do the needful for their fallen hero.
“All the games we have been organising for our passed members it has been successful but this one since is a Port Harcourt thing the crowd was awesome.
We have the commitment for each other you can see the caliber of people that attended the event today, we are really committed” Ezeji said.
He revealed that the like of Adokiye Amiesimaka, Richard Owubokiri and Hamilton Green that are far away from the country also showed their commitment.
The late Iseokaeinma who was popular called Gaza was the former head of coach of Rivers United Feeder and also member of the Rivers State Real Madrid FC academy coaching crew.
