New PSN Boss Promises To Complete Resource Centre

The newly elected Chairman of the Pharmaceutical Society of Nigeria, (PSN), Rivers State Branch, Promise Anele, has promised to complete the resource centre of the association under construction within the first 100 days of his administration.
Anele made this promise in his acceptance speech after being elected as the chairman of the association during the triennial delegates conference held last Wednesday in Port Harcourt.
He told the excited members and delegates that he would accord the resource centre  and other activities  of the association attention and to justify the mandate given to him and other members of the executive .
The new chairman, who was the former secretary of the association promised to work as a team and to carry every member of the association along in the scheme of things.
“ I want to say that this mandate or victory given to us is a huge trust ,and we can not afford to fail or disappoint. Let me say that it is a new dawn in the annals of the association .I also want to add that today marks an important day in my life “
Also speaking, the National President of the association, Prof Cyril Usifor represented by his Deputy, Dr Egbuna Udeorah commended delegates for the maturity and patriotism they exhibited during the election and urged all and sundry to close ranks for the development and betterment of the association .
In her speech, the Chairperson of the Credentials Committee, Pharmacist (Mrs) Uran Peters averred that the election was conducted in a free and fair atmosphere, adding that all contestants were given equal opportunity .
According to her, Pharm Anele Promise scored the highest votes during the election and was declared winner .
