Former Dep Leader Lauds LG Boss On Dev

The former Deputy Leader of Ikwerre Local Government Council Legislative Assembly, Hon Amadi Jacob, has applauded the developmental strides of the Chairman of the Council, Hon Samuel Nwanosike.
According to him, Nwanosike’s approach towards development was unprecedented, as he has changed the face of the area.
Jacob, currently the Supervisory Councillor for Budget and Planning, said this at the weekend, during the commissioning of a chapel and restaurant built by the council.
“I want to say that in terms of infrastructural and human capacity development, no chairman in the history of the state had surpassed Ikwerre council boss, hence, should be addressed as ‘KELGA Mr Project.’
“The Ikwerre electorate who voted for Nwanosike and Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) can now attest to the fact that they have a leader that means well for the people,” Jacob said.
He used the forum to call on other council chairmen and aspiring leaders to take a cue from Nwanosike, who has redefined leadership and made himself available for any leadership position.
In another development, the Supervisory Councillor on Budget and Economic Planning, has reconstructed Ehia Street in Elele Town.
“I sponsored the repair of the road because I can no longer bear the excruciating pains my people were going through due to poor state of the road. Ehia Street, which links some parts of Elele Town, including the roundabout and market, had been in a deplorable condition for years,” he stated.
However, he appealed to the relevant authorities to come to their aid, even as some residents of the area commended Hon. Jacob for the repairs.
