Spokesman of the United Nations International Association of World Peace Advocates, Dr.Emmanuel Nkweke, says civil societies engagement with the government will fast track the attainment of the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).
Nkweke said this at the weekend in Port Harcourt at a one-day summit on United Nations career development organized by the Association.

He said constant pressure by CSOs is the fastest way of attaining the programme..
According to him, ten schools were invited for the event with the view to teaching them the act of volunteerism which the UN system allows.
He also said the aim was to bring various stakeholders, including the youth and school owners together to broaden their horizon on the international system.
Six peace Ambassadors were given award at the event.
They are Engr Edet Edet, Owoyemi Friday, Capt. Ochulor metrcy Ozurum, Ajayi Vivian Eshovo, Akwuruoha Romanus, and Ikechukwu, Nwaehiri Theodore.

Chairman of the occasion, HRH King J. D. Nkpe of Alesa Community, Eleme, said the situation at the international level should be of concern to all.
