Banigo Attributes Wike’s Successes To God
Rivers State Deputy Governor, Dr. Ipalibo Harry Banigo, has expressed gratitude to the Almighty God for the successes achieved by Governor Nyesom Wike-led administration within the past seven years.
Banigo expressed this during the Special Thanksgiving Service organized by Kalabari Unity Prayer Forum, at Redeemed Christian Church of God, Jesus House, Rumuibekwe Housing Estate, in Port Harcourt, last Saturday.
She said in all her work, she has seen the faithfulness of God, His goodness as well as His kindness every step of the way, stressing that God has been glorious, awesome and faithful.
The deputy governor described Wike as a man whom God has chosen, noting that God always enlightens the eyes of his understanding, and would always give him the wisdom to do what is right especially at a time like this.
Banigo urged Christians to always meditate on God’s word in order to be successful, stressing that as we connect with His Word it would produce faith and there would be no circumstances or condition that we cannot face.
“He never told us that everything will be smooth sailing, the Bible tells us that many are the afflictions of the righteous but the Lord delivers them all, not a few, but all, that is the unending grace that is why it is good to know Him, serve and surrender to Him”.
In his sermon, the Intercontinental Youth Pastor of Redeemed Christian Church of God, Pastor Belemina Obunge, described grace as a blessing we do not deserve or a breakthrough we did not ask for, adding that Grace can preserve, position, promote and prosper anybody.
In his welcome speech, the Coordinator of Kalabari Unity Prayer Forum, Apostle Taribo Wes,t said they were thanking the Almighty God for their illustrious daughter, Banigo whom, according to him, has portrayed a quintessential attribute of excellence, peace, humility, love, and dedication to service of her state and nation.
He said “we are mindful that God uses man to do all his plan, and so we are also using this medium to express our profound gratitude to the Governor of our state, Chief Nyesom Wike for finding the trust to choose a daughter of Kalabari land to be his deputy not just for one tenure but for two tenures”.
