YSFON Boss Hails Sponsors At 57th Anniversary Celebration

President of Youth Sports Federation of Nigeria (YSFON) Dr. Nasiru Yusuf Gawuna has commended supporters of the federation as it rolls out the drums to celebrate 57 years of existence.
Set up by visionary sports administrators to ensure sports is developed at the grassroots level and enable talented youths to achieve their potential in sports, he noted that the Federation has surpassed the expectation of its founding fathers and many Nigerians alike.
Tidesports source reports that Gawuna, who is also the Deputy Governor of Kano state, highlighted some of its tournaments such as Gen. Muritala Ramat Mohammed (Ramat Cup) which has been running for more than 40 years now, Chief of Naval Staff Cup, Oba of Benin Cup just to mention but a few.
As the body marks it’s more than five decades of existence, stakeholders are of the opinion that with more support, the federation will continue to wax stronger and achieve more successes in future and it is congratulation galore to the foremost grassroots sports development body in the country.
