Nwagua Advises Youths On Self-Confidence
Rivers United Fc of Port Harcourt, striker Nyima Nwagua, has advised youths in the country to always believe in themselves and keep faith in God.
He further advised them to shun violence and believing in themselves, saying that one day will be their turn to shine.
Nwagua, gave the advice shortly after he was honoured as Sports Man of the Year, by My Bori My City Sports, at Adokiye Amiesimaka Studium, in Port Harcourt, after United thrashed Niger Tornadoes 3-0, on Monday.
According to him, the honour will spur him to put more effort and commitment. He thank his teammates for their contributions.
” I want to use this opportunity to thank my teammates and God Almighty for the award given to me and I want to encourage the youths that working hard, praying and believing in yourself can take you to greater heights.
Also, I advice youths to shun violence, keep their faith in God and keep pushing, one day it will turn out good for them. I have never seen anyone that trusted in God and he didn’t get what he wanted.”
While presenting the award at the Stadium, the organiser of the rising brand of #MyBoriMyCity, Smith Barinua, said the award was in recognition of his consistency in the field of play and contributions towards the development of sports in the country.
“We considered you a worthy recipient of this award due to your consistency in the field of play and your contributions to sports development in Bori, Khana Local Government Area, Rivers State, Nigeria and beyond” Barinua said.
