Eguma Attributes Rivers United’s Impressive Performance To Wike, Management

The technical Manager of Rivers United, Stanley Eguma, has attributed the team’s impressive performance to management meeting up players’  demand in terms of welfare, hence, they play with good frame of mind.
According to him, the achievements were unconnected since the governor of the State, Chief Nyesom Wike, took over the club as he adequately released funds to sustain the team.
Coach Eguma said this in an interview, made available to Tidesports, shortly after Rivers United ran away with three points in Katsina State, following their 0-1 defeat against Katsina United, in match 22 at the ongoing Nigeria Professional Football League (NPFL), on Wednesday.
He explained that the players were more committed and played all matches with relaxed  mind  set as the management of the club provided the necessary logistics that made the players happy.
“ The players are in good frame of mind as the management of the club is meeting up their welfare demands.
I must commend His Excellency, Chief Nyesom Wike, for taking over the club. Since he took over the club there are alot of improvements” Eguma said.
Reacting to the pattern of play, he said the team was not built around a particular play, saying that any player can be  kept on reserve for a new player.
He also used the forum to commend Ndasi Dennis for his consistency at the back.
