Kwara Gov Heads APC Zoning Committee
The All Progressives Congress (APC) has constituted an 8-member committee headed by the Governor of Kwara State, Abdulrahaman Abdulrazaq, to zone party offices ahead of its national convention slated for March 26.
The National Secretary of the party, John Akpanudodehe, disclosed this in a statement issued on Wednesday, in Abuja.
He said, “The National Chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC) Caretaker/Extraordinary Convention Planning Committee (CECPC) and Governor of Yobe State, His Excellency, Mai Mala Buni, has approved the appointment of the Party’s Zoning Committee for the forthcoming National Convention.”
Deputy President of the Senate, Ovie Omo-Agege would serve as Deputy Chairman of the committee, while the Deputy Governor of Anambra State, Nkem Okeke would serve as Secretary.
Other members are Prof. Etim Nyong, Dr. M.B. Shehu, Comrade Mustapha Salihu, Sen. Teslim Folarin and Alhaji Sadeeq Sule-Iko Sami.
The Committee is expected to submit its report on Monday, March 7, 2022.
