Iorfa Returns As Lobi Stars Vice-Chairman

Former Nigerian international, Dominic Iorfa has been re-appointed as the new ViceChairman of Lobi Stars FC of Makurdi by Benue State Government six years after he left the club.
Iorfa replaced former Vice Chairman, Tama Aondofa, who was relieved of his job on Monday, due to the club’s poor run of result in the 2021/2022 Nigeria Professional Football League (NPFL).
The former BCC LionS of Gboko and Abiola Babes of Abeokuta striker is staging a comeback to football administration after he left the club in 2016 wheN he served for 14 years before he was replaced by Mike Idoko.
In his first stint with the club, the club won a Federation Cup title in 2003 and lost in the final on three different occasions in 2005, 2012 and 2015. The club also placed third in the league in the 2012/2013 season which fetched them a CAF Confederation Cup ticket.
Lobi Stars ended the first stanza of the ongoing season in 19 position, securing 19 points out of possible 57 points.
