We Want To Finish In Good Position – Ogunbote

Remo Stars boss, Gbenga Ogunbote once again rejected suggestions that his team are the favorites for NPFL, insisting they only wants to finish in good position.
Remo Stars defeated Shooting Stars Football Club of Ibadan 1-0 in the match day 11 of Nigeria Professional football league season in Ikenne on Sunday.
The victory ensured the Sky Blues side returned to the top of the table and also preserved their unbeaten start to the campaign.
Asked about Remo’s title hopes after the victory, the former Enyimba boss told brila.net .
“We are still an underdogs, baby of the league and all we are trying to do is to make sure we beat the drop. Anything after that is a bonus.”
“The moment we start talking about winning the league, then it will result to unnecessary pressure and I have name and integrity to protect. We just want to finish in good position.” He said on Sunday.
