UBE Pupils Jubilate Over Donation Of Books

Pupils of Universal Basic Education (UBE) Ward 3 in Emohua Local Government Area of Rivers State were full of joy and jubilation recently following the donation of books, first aid box and other materials to aid teaching and learning in the school.
The donation was made by the Supervisory Councillor for Education in Emohua Local Government Councils Chief Owhor Osimini during his familarisation tour to the school where he also obtained the data base of the school and head teacher for easy communication and effective administration.
The supervisory councillor who disclosed this in an interview with The Tide stated that the remaining state primary and the UBE schools would also be visited and educational materials equally donated to alleviate the problems of the pupils and promote the standard of education in the local government.
Chief Osimini lauded the council boss, Dr Chidi Lloyd for giving priority to education under his administration as he thanked him for finding him worthy to serve as a Supervisory Councillor for Education under his watch and promised not to betray the confidence reposed in him.
He also thanked the Leader of Ward 3, Hon Charles Beke for his commitment towards the upliftment of educational standards in the Ward. Chief Osimini disclosed that the donations were his personal sacrifices to give back to the society. He promised to do more for the pupils to encourage them in their studies and academic pursuits.
