LG Boss Hails Wike Over Chieftaincy Title

The Chairman of Bonny Local Government Area, Hon. Anengi Barasua, has described the honour given to the State Governor, Chief Nyesom Wike, by the people of Kalabari Kingdom, as well deserved.
Barasua said the honour was a clear demonstration that the governor has touched every local government area in the state in terms of development.
She said this at the weekend in Bonny, while reacting to the chieftaicy title conferred on the governor as Se-Ibidokubo 1 of ancient Kalabari Kingdom.
According to her, the Governor’s pragmatic approach to deveploment was what spurred her to carry out massive deveplomental projects in her Local Government Area.
“ The leadership prowess and passion for development of Governor Wike has spurred all the council Chairmen to do same, most especially myself”.
“Honestly, Wike’s administration has unified various ethnic groups in the state following his uncommon people- oriented projects acroos the length and breath of the state,” she said.
The local government boss revealed that before the end of her tenure, the entire LGA would wear a new look and empower youths, men and women.
She used the forum to advise youths in the State to shun anything that is capable of causing crisis, saying that a peaceful environment enhances development.
