The Lawmarker,  representing Khana/Gokana Federal Constituency in the House of Representatives,  Hon Robinson Dekor, has provided database for business owners in his Constituency.
Inaugurating the database programme in Bori, recently, Dekor explained that the aim of creating  database was to ensure that businesses are recorded in Khana and Gokana Local Government Areas (LGAs) to make it easier to reach them for support.
“The aim of creating database for Micro, Small and Medium entrepreneurs at the Bori Constituency Office is to ensure proper recording of businesses in my constituency so I can easily reach them in my intervention programmes”, he said.
The Tide gathered that  registration of participants was  part of the federal lawmaker’s efforts to support micro, small and medium business owners to overcome the challenges posed by the Covid-19 pandemic.
The lawmaker noted that  the registration was mainly for small scale business operators in the two LGAs in order to enhance its economy.
Dekor, who is the Chairman, House Committee on Host Communities, emphasised that the targeted fund was purely for the afore-mentioned business class and not to be given to other higher classes of business.
Accordingly, he urged the participants to look out for further information on MSMEs via their cell phone in-boxes  for up-dates about the programme.
Impressed by what they described as quality representation by the lawmaker at the National Assembly, some of the participants assured him of making the best of the database programme.
Others like Mr Itor-Ue Michael Dumle and Kenule Sunday Leyiga, who spoke separately for Khana, as well as Charles Feeme and Barimon Dugelo for Gokana, commended Dekor over his resolution to have the people empowered in such capacity.
