NPFL: Match Against Sunshine Stars So Difficult – Osho
The Head Coach of Rivers United FC of Port Harcourt, Fatai Osho, has described the game against Sunshine Stars of Ondo State in the match day four of the Nigeria Professional Football League (NPFL) as one of the most difficult matches played in the season.
According to him, his opponents were playing behind the ball and it made the game difficult for his boys( players) to penetrate their defence.
Osho made the assertion on Sunday in his post match interview with sports journalists shortly after playing a barren draw against Sunshine Stars at the Adokiye Amiesimaka Stadium in Port Harcourt.
He explained that Sunshine Stars dominated the game throughout the 90 minutes of play, saying that the game was a difficult one.
“The game was very difficult for us from the onset. They dominated us because they were playing behind the ball which made the game difficult for us to penetrate their defence.
The pride of Rivers filtered away opportunities that came their way which would have put them ahead of their opponents” Osho said.
