LG Boss Inaugurates Special Taskforce On Illegal Bunkering
In compliance with Governor Nyesom Wike’s directive on closure of all illegal oil refining sites, the Chairman, Ogba/ Egbema/Ndoni Local Government Area, Hon. Vincent Job, has set-up a 14-member task force to swiftly implement the directive.
The task force is headed by Solomon Nwachukwu Ariodu, while Enumah John, Asotekari Jonah, Nasak Ayuba and Thaddeus Gongdat are member. Others are ASP rank lnokwuka, Inspector Solomon Erneheu, Nwachukwu Adan and Ozimede Peter. The rest are Hilary Ugadi Eze, Utuh Chijioke, Uche Nwatube and Romeo Nwabeke.
Inaugurating the task force, Chairman, Ogba/Egbema/Ndoni Local Government Area, Vincent Job charged members to ensure total compliance by combing all nooks and crannies of the local government Area and report any unwholesome activity to him for onward transmission to the state governor.
Speaking on behalf of the members, Chairman of the Taskforce, Solomon Nwachukwu Ariodu thanked the council chairman for the confidence reposed on members of the task force, and pledged their commitment to sanitise the environment.
Present at the meeting were Special Adviser to Chairman on Environment, Hon Lucky Ajie, Chief Security Officer of Council, ACP Kentus Obie (rtd) and others.
Meanwhile, the Chairman, Ogba/Egbema/Ndoni Local Governent Area, Vincent Job has swung into action as he led members of the task force to a suspected bunkering site where some tools were recovered and taken to the Divisional Police Headquarters, Omoku for further investigation.
