Reactions Trail Oyigbo-Ogoloma-Afam Road Flag-Off

Reactions have continued to trail the flag-off of Oyigbo – Ogoloma-Afam Road in Oyigbo Local Government Area in the State by Governor Nyesom Wike-led administration.
Last week, the 17.6 km road was officially flagged off by the National Chairman of the Peoples Democratic Party ( (PDP), Senator Iyorchia Ayu.
This was to alleviate suffering of inhabitants and other road users in the area.
In his reactions ,the chairman of revenue committee in the area, Senibo Daniel Chijindu described the construction of the road as a dream come true
He commended the governor for showing capacity hence the people in the State would continue to support him.
“We are proud of Governor Wike and his developmental strides in the State, I know this road will boost our revenue base and attract investors .
I also thank the chairman of PDP in the State, Amb. Desmond Akawor and other PDP leaders in the LGA for supporting the Governor” Senibo Daniel said.
Chief Protocol Officer in Oyigbo LGA, Ewerendu Patrick , said he would ensure that youths give maximum support to the contractor to deliver the road without distraction.
Patrick who is also the youth leader in the area, showered encomiums on Governor Wike’ for remembering his people whom he said had passed through hell due to bad condition of the road.
The OSPAC commander in Oyigbo, Isaiah Omentajo, lauded the Governor for keeping to his words, saying that the construction of the road would end the nightmare of Oyigbo people.
According to him, the flag off of the road will open a new chapter of unprecedented development in the area.
“We shall ensure that the company delivers on time. Their personnel and equipment will be safe throughout the contract duration, Omentajo said.
In their separate reactions, the Ward Six Councillor, Hon. John Moses and Ward Nine Councillor, Hon. Oyegorom Chukwudi, also commended the Governor for the flag off ceremony.
