Proprietor Charges Christians, Students On Change

The Chairman of Showers Christian High School, Port Harcourt, Engr. Anthony Akpan has reiterated the need for Christians and students to live as change agents.
Engr. Akpan said this in an interview with newsmen shortly after the school’s 2021 Christmas Carol at the school premises in Port Harcourt recently.
The Chairman said that “the world is as bad as it is today because even Christians are not living the life expected of them as change agents.
“When Christians and students begin to live as they ought to, the society will be a better place”
He said the school had been a great change agent instrument which has produced results over the years.
In her goodwill message, the Managing Director of the School, Mrs Ekama Akpan said, “in Showers schools, we prepare students to use their various gifts to enhance the world wherever they find themselves.
“We educate to sustain, inspire every student to aspire to the next level. In all, we ensure that God remains central in all we do”, saying that the season calls for sober reflection on the greatest love that the birth of Jesus brought to the world.
A parent in the school, Mrs. 0kike Nsika commended the school for being outstanding in building character and educational standard.
She described the Managing Director as being gifted in grooming children, adding that her three children in the school have become very exceptional in character and academics.
In his contribution, a senior student of the school, Dibor Jidenna Aaron said, “l was not good in some subjects and areas of my life. They discovered and started developing me but today, l am made the best out of those weaknesses”.
The high lights of the occasion was, act exhibitions, drama, songs among others.
