OYF Gets 21-Man Committee

Chairman, Ogba/Egbema/Nd-oni Local Government Area, Hon. Vincent Job, has warned youths in Omoku, headquarters of the LGA against acts capable of truncating the existing peace in the area.
The Chairman handed down the warning while inaugurating a 21-man interim committee to pilot the affairs of Omoku Youth Federation, following the dissolution of the body and all other youth groups in Omoku two weeks ago.
He enjoined them to co-operate with security agencies, local security outfits and critical stakeholders to sustain peace and allow investors come in to ensure rapid socio-economic development of the area.
Responding on behalf of the new interim executive, Chairman of the Committee, Chris Nnamdi John thanked the council chairman for the confidence reposed in them and pledged to work round the clock to justify that confidence.
He promised to operate an all-inclusive interim government where all interests will be taken care of without fear of intimidation.
Members of the interim committee are: Chris Nnamdi John, Chairman, Dr. Lucky Ojoba secretary and Sunny Amakodi, PRO.
Others are: Kingsley Ogula, Nnamdi Orike, Emmanuel Ordu, Okwudiri Nwata, Chukwuma Osiagor, Ebere Eze, Daniel Onwugbonu and Chukwudi Obuah.
The rest are: Lucky Isiodu, Dr. Prince Collins Eluozu, Chigozie Enyiche, Perpetual Oluchi Okirie, Augustine Eluozo, Messiah Umem Silk, Eric Achonwa, Clever Onyeocha, Friday Tobin and Jennifer Oburu.
High points of the ceremony were administration of oaths of office and allegiance.
