Motor Accident Claims Six In Enugu

No fewer than six persons have been confirmed dead in a fatal motor accident, involving a water tanker and parked tricycles, that occurred yesterday evening at Nza Street by Bush Bar, Independence Layout, Enugu. 
The Tide learnt that the water tanker, a Mercedes Benz vehicle with registration No: EDA 166 XB, was set ablaze by an angry mob shortly after the incident. 
It was also suspected that the driver of the water tanker lost control due to brake failure, while descending the hill towards Nza Street by Bush Bar location, and ran into parked tricycles. 
This resulted in the death of six persons (4 females and 2 males), whose bodies were moved to the hospital and were later confirmed dead by doctors on duty. 
While the corpses of the victims have been deposited in the mortuary for preservation,  three others who sustained injuries, were also rushed to the hospital, where they are reported to be responding to treatment.
 Meanwhile,  Enugu State Governor, Ifeanyi Ugwuanyi, has already visited those who sustained various decree of injuries during the unfortunate incident, assuring  them that government would take care of their medical treatment bills. 
He has also commiserated with family members and friends of those who lost their lives in the ugly incident.
