Photographer Fingers Monarch Over Attack
A photographer, Uche Augustine, has accused the Paramount Ruler of Bua Boue Community in Khana Local Government Area of Rivers State, Mene Taalor Tornwe of allegedly sending thugs to attack him.
Augustine, who spoke from an undisclosed hospital bed accused the paramount ruler of refusing to pay him for over six months after he had made a picture portrait for him.
He alleged that the monarch had kept promising him of payment when he receives salary from the Traditional Rulers Council but had constantly reneged on his promises, asking him to come and take back his pictures.
He alleged further that he was shocked to see thugs led by the son of the paramount ruler attack him when he got back to collect his picture portrait, accusing him of insulting their father.
When contacted, the Paramount Ruler of Boue Community, Mene Taalor Tornwe dismissed claims that his sons led thugs to attack the photographer.
