Foundation Launches Online Health Care Delivery
Save a Life Foundation has unveiled an internet-based medical outreach that facilitates health care delivery in any part of the world.
The project which is driven by an online software that will help users to address issues of health and emergencies has been unveiled by Save A Life Foundation in Rivers State.
President of the foundation, Dr Richard Okoye said the software known as Dr Save A Life is available online and is free of charge.
Okoye, whose foundation has carried out several free medicare and health enlightenment campaigns in different parts of the state, says the software addresses issues of primary health care, though does not replace professional care and examinations.
The application has features that can link users to nearby health centres and hospitals and covers about 176 countries of the world.
With the rising challenge of fake drugs and quacks in the medical industry, Dr Okoye stated that the software had special features that can help one to detect and avoid drug scams.
