Football Fans Call For Rohr’s Sack

Following the unimpressive performance by Nigeria’s Super Eages, last Thursday some  football fans have called for the sack of  Coach Gernot Rohr, as head coach of the country’s senior national team. 
Super Eagles last Thursday lost 1-0 to Central African Republic (CAR) in FIFA World Cup qualifying match in Lagos.
Speaking with Tidesports yesterday in Port Harcourt, a business man, Samuel Adamu, said it is time to sack Rohr, as he was not impressed with the coaching pattern, saying that this style cannot take us to anywhere. 
According to him, Rohr deserved to go before now, adding that since he was appointed Super Eagles head coach , he has not introduced new ideas into the team. 
“How can Nigeria Super Eagles lose to CAR in Lagos? 
This is a bad record because Nigeria is one of the best in terms of football in Africa, I cannot imagine we losing to CAR, that means we are going down in football,” Adamu said. .
However, he advised the players to put the shocking defeat behind them and move the team forward.
“I did not know the level of confidence the Nigeria Football Federation ( NFF) has on Rohr for keeping him so long and he has not done new a thing,” he stated. 
Also speaking, a football fan,Benson Chukwudi said Rohr had over stayed as national team coach. 
He called on NFF to do the needful by sacking him, saying that he is under-utilitising Nigeria Professional Football League (NPFL) players and not making significant impact. 
“I am not impressed with the level of the performance of the Super Eagles under Rohr.”
“I think this is the right time the NFF should sack him,” Chukwudi said”.
